Located in the scenic Falls Lake Resort, Lower Vaughn, Nova Scotia, we have created a restful family retreat that you can think of as your home away from home when you're in the area. Be it canoeing, hiking, or antiquing in the summer; or, downhill or cross country skiing at beautiful Ski Martock in the winter, the Dream Catcher Chalet offers your family maximum relaxation and activity opportunities.

Newly built in 2011, the Dream Catcher Chalet boasts heritage craftsmanship and wide-open vistas. Located directly on Falls Lake, the Dream Catcher Chalet includes three bedrooms, two of which are equipped with comfortable memory foam queen beds, and one with two twin trundle beds (sleeps 3). Take in a morning coffee while sitting on the bistro set on the elevated balcony off the spacious master bedroom, as you listen to the sounds of the loons, and watch the sun rise over the glistening lake. After breakfast, take a canoe ride along the expansive Falls Lake, and see how many different bird species you can identify! Spend the day hiking or snowshoeing throughout the Falls Lake Resort, or take a short drive to one of the many local cultural and historic towns that dot the Nova Scotia landscape, including the quaint and scenic towns of Wolfville and Kentville.

Arriving back at the Dream Catcher Chalet, take in an evening soak in the whirlpool bathtub as you fill the air with your favourite music, gaze at the stars through the telescope or through the skylights, and spend the evening playing board games with the family, roasting marshmallows over an open fire, or simply sleeping in the quiet embrace of nature.

The Dream Catcher Chalet is tastefully decorated, and is equipped with a 32" flat screen television, dvd player, Nintendo Wii, satellite, wireless internet, electric fireplace, telescope, propane barbeque, linens, all the amenities you and your family could need. A clean and sturdy playpen and infant bouncy sit are available should you partake in this adventure with your baby.
